Vitamin D deficiency associated with a higher risk of COVID-19 hospitalisation

A new study published in the journal Endocrine in January 2021 shows that
low levels of vitamin D are associated with a higher risk of COVID19
hospitalisation.

If this is confirmed, vitamin D supplementation may be an inexpensive and
rapid method to ensure better outcomes in such patients.
